Clinical Supervision & Mentoring
*Currently not accepting new LMSW supervisees. However, f you are a current undergraduate student or someone considering going into the counseling field and have questions regarding graduate school, career path exploration, or are in need of mentoring (no fee associated), please contact me via the email button below.*
I became a Maryland Board of Social Work Approved Clinical Supervisor in 2014 and have provided individual and group clinical supervision in a variety of settings. I have seen numerous supervisees through the process of applying for the LCSW-C exam, honing their studying skills, and ultimately passing the exam on the first attempt. My approach to the supervision experience is casual and informal. I believe my role is to assist supervisees in finding their own clinical style and approach that is right for them as a practitioner, free of influence from my own personal style. I have been privileged to have had wonderful supervisors of my own who set a high standard for the importance of the supervision relationship. To further my knowledge and stay up to date, I attend clinical supervision trainings on a yearly basis as is required by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.
Supervision meetings are typically held in person in the Anne Arundel County area during weekday daytime/afternoon hours. I also offer HIPAA-compliant virtual meetings as another way to meet for supervision that may allow for more flexibility. Your LMSW license must be in active status with zero disciplinary action issued by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. If you need further clarification, please visit the BSWE website here. Feel free to contact me via email to discuss fees, current availability, and to determine if we would be a good fit, clinically speaking.
